Is it really Autism?

With science we are trying to find the biological differences between the different types of Autism. Until then the differences are categorized by behaviors and observed severity of the condition.
There seems to be some social push-back from parents/caregivers of level two and three Autistics. They claim that level one Autistics are not autistic because they appear to be independent and just different in their perspectives and don't have a true disability.
Level one Autistics argue that there are many faces of their disability, and that they feel the need to mask in order to look typical and that causes a great deal of exhaustion and other health issues.
Whether or not Level 1 Autisics are truly Autistic or not, and if they are given another name. They will still have the same condition and will require the same accommodations that they need currently.
The sad thing about this rejection is that all Autistics suffer from rejection from the neurotypical majority. It would be nice to have some neurotypical advocacy from people who are in the same world, who love someone with Autism. Level one Autistics could also help caregivers to better understand why their children do what they do and grow to accept them more fully.
